The National Board of Examinations awarded gold medals to 13 DNB trainees from the Apollo Hospitals Group, for their outstanding performance.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE), on the occasion of the 19th convocation held in New Delhi on September 21, 2018 saw honors being conferred to many distinguished faculty as well as eminent NBE accredited institutions for their outstanding contribution to the DNB/FNB courses. During the convocation, over 300 DNB trainees were awarded Gold Medals for their outstanding performance in the final examination in various specialties and sub-specialties for the AY 2014 to 2017.

Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad was conferred with the award of NBE Scroll of Honor for their outstanding commitment to excellence in Postgraduate Medical Education and Clinical Research. Dr. T. S. Reddy, Director of Medical Education, Apollo Hospitals received the award from Shri. M. Venkaiah Naidu, Honourable Vice President of India, in the presence of Shri. Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Smt. Anupriya Patel, Honourable Ministers of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in a glittering ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

During the 19^th convocation, Thirteen (13) DNB graduates from the Apollo Hospitals Group have been awarded Gold Medals in various specialties. Currently, there are 500 DNB/FNB seats with 835 trainees pursuing DNB/FNB program across 14 locations covering 42 specialties and sub-specialties at the Apollo Group of Hospitals.

The following DNB trainees from the Apollo Group of Hospitals have been awarded gold medals by the NBE during the 19th convocation for scoring highest in their respective specialties during the final exams
