On the occasion of World Liver Day, Apollo Speciality Hospital, Madurai in association with Young Indians, organized an Organ Donation awareness program

The program was conducted for the Students and Faculties of Pandian Sarasvati college of Engineering in Madurai District. The objective of this drive was to help amplify the awareness and need for organ donation in a sustained & conspicuous manner.

Dr. Rohini Sridhar, Chief Operating Officer, Apollo Hospitals – Madurai Division and Dr. P Rajesh Prabhu, Gastroenterologist, Apollo Speciality Hospitals Madurai delivered the keynote address. Dr. Rohini Sridhar, Chief Operating Officer, in her address highlighted that one donor can give life to a minimum of 8 people. The need for donors has never been greater.

Dr. P Rajesh Prabhu, Gastroenterologist, Apollo Speciality Hospitals explained the role every team members in performing a successful transplant.
