The Department of ENT – Head Neck Surgery at Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru is conducting a three-day national “Endoscopic Sinus and Anterior Skull Base Cadaveric Dissection Workshop – 2017” on 1st and 2nd Apr 2017 at MS Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre, Bengaluru. A world-renowned faculty in the field of Skull Base Surgery, Dr TN Janakiram from Trichy would be the Chief Faculty. Other faculties include Dr Deepak Haldipur who is the President of Association of Otolaryngologists of India.
The issues sought to be addressed by this workshop are:
- Presenting a comprehensive overview of the theoretical aspects of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery as well as Endoscopic Anterior Skull Base Surgery as relevant to ENT and Neurosurgery.
- Discussion of practical clinical protocols in management of Chronic Rhinosinusitis and Anterior Skull Base Lesions.
- Improving the surgical skills by means of hands-on training in cadavers under close supervision by faculty.
