Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, Chennai successfully treated an 8-year-old boy from Singapore diagnosed with a Grade IV medulloblastoma
Amidst the COVID-19 situation, Apollo Proton Cancer Center successfully treated an eight-year-old from Singapore who was diagnosed with a Grade IV medulloblastoma. The patient underwent surgery to remove the tumour but it was complemented with irradiation and chemotherapy so that tumour recurrence could be avoided, said Dr. Rakesh Jalali, Medical Director of Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC), Chennai.
