- MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery ( 6 months ) – This hospital is a 16 bedded Level III NICU situated in Kolenchery.. My duties included being 2 nd on call and taking NICU rounds and teaching of undergraduate and sub spaeciality residents. St Thomas Hospital , Changanasseri ( 6 months ) – worked as the lone consultant Neonatologist . Involved in setting up the unit. Rajagiri Hospital ( JCI, NABH accredited ) , Aluva ( March 2016 till date ) – This is a 16 bedded level III NICU taking care of high risk babies including extreme premies above 22 wks. I work as one of 2 consultant neonatologoists. Scope of services include care of extreme preterms, pediatric surgical cases, parenteral nutrition, neurodevelopmental follow ups . One of our unique achievements involved salvaging of 22 wks twins born at 438 gms and 500 gms respectively which is the smallest surviving twins in India . We are also routinely looking after babies at “borderline viability”
