Paediatrics Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

CML is a rare form of cancer that occurs in children. CML affects the blood cells and bone marrow - part where the blood cells are made inside the bones. With treatment, most people go into "remission" which means that the cancer is not entirely gone, but is less active than before. One can be in remission for many years.
