RFA is done alone, or in combination with other treatments.

It can be used to treat small/ large tumours since it can be applied several times with no side effects and minimal complications. It may be indicated in the following:


  • Offers a non-surgical method of treatment
  • Minimal discomfort to the patient
  • Quick, safe and economical
  • Short hospital stay, sometimes done as a daycare procedure
  • Offers a practical alternative in inoperable patients
