Dr. MPS Chandra Kalyan is a Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncologist at Apollo Cancer Centres, Vizag. He is Intuitive Board-Certified Robotic Surgeon and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon. Over the past 13 years, he has performed more than 5,000 surgeries with minimal complications. He is credited as one of the first Robotic Surgeons with the most extensive experience of more than 150 Robotic cancer procedures to his name in the State of Andhra Pradesh. He is a passionate competent surgeon with comprehensive and compassionate patient care as the main motto. His expertise lies in Head and Neck, Thyroid, Breast, Thoracic, Gastro Intestinal, Urology and Gynaecological Oncology procedures. His areas of special interest are minimally invasive Esophagus, Lung, Colorectal, and Pancreatic surgeries. He has been instrumental in setting up the minimally invasive (Robotic and Laparoscopic) Oncological program and creating awareness regarding the same in various academic and public platforms. He trained many budding surgeons and Surgical Oncology Residents in the role of Faculty for DNB Super Speciality Surgical Oncology.
