Dr Sivasundari is a Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology with special expertise in Gynaecological cancers at Apollo Cancer Centre, Vanagaram. With over 23 years of experience, she has extensive expertise in performing various surgeries, like vaginal hysterectomy, non- descent vaginal hysterectomy and gynaecological oncological procedures using laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
Her achievement has been recognized with the renowned Vijaya Patil Gold Medal in MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. IAGES granted her a degree in FALS Robotic Surgery. In addition, she has received 13 awards and 10 gold medals including one IMA gold medal for obstetrics and gynaecology in the MBBS.
Dr. Sivasundari has been invited to present at several national and international conferences. She has published in several national and international journals.
