Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT)

It is an outpatient procedure which does not require any form of anesthesia or sedation. A preparatory CT scan will be done after positioning the patient on a vacuum bed. Based on the CT scans a highly focused radiation plan will be generated using computer. After a good quality plan is generated, the patient will be treated by a computerized linear accelerator.
