• Prior history of cancer
• Immuno-compromised (weakened immune system)
• Family History of some specific syndromes such as:
• Neurofibromatosis type 1 & type 2
• Tuberous Sclerosis
• Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome
• Li-Fraumeni syndrome
• Turcot syndrome
• Gorlin syndrome (basal cell nevus syndrome)
• Cowden syndrome
