Dr C Rayappa is a Senior Consultant – Head & Neck Oncology and Skull Base Surgery at Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai, with over 30 years of experience. He is among the very few surgeons in India who is proficient in performing open and endoscopic nasopharyngectomy for nasopharyngeal malignancies. His use of advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques with the aid of an endoscope, Laser and robotic technology aims at reducing morbidity and improving quality of life.
He is an academician and a mentor to the Fellows in Head and Neck Oncology at Apollo Cancer Centre. He has several papers published in peer-reviewed journals and is often invited as a speaker both nationally and internationally. He has conducted numerous medical conferences and is among the most sought-after faculty to conduct national and international workshops.
