A historic milestone, The Apollo Liver Transplant Program has a success rate of over 90% in pediatric liver transplantation

Apollo Hospitals Delhi performed India’s first successful pediatric liver transplant in 1998

New Delhi, 13 March 2023: Apollo, the world’s largest vertically integrated healthcare provider, has been at the forefront of patient care in India and has led the organ transplant revolution in healthcare. Today the Apollo Hospitals Group announced the successful completion of 500 pediatric liver transplants.

In a powerful display of solidarity and support, Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC), Apollo Cancer Centres (ACC) and Apollo Shine hosted the third edition of the ‘Winners on Wheels’ Cyclathon. The event was aimed at raising awareness about sarcoma and inspire hope for improved quality of life after treatment. Sarcoma, a rare and often misunderstood cancer, predominantly affects children.
