Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai successfully managed one of its most complex polytrauma cases, saving the life and limb of a 37-year-old Merchant Navy officer who sustained catastrophic injuries in a high-speed road traffic accident. The patient suffered more than 15 fractures, severe blood loss, a crushed right forearm, and a traumatic rupture of the aorta the body's main blood vessel requiring immediate life-saving intervention.
