Antenatal Workshop

The wellbeing of expectant mothers and their unborn babies is amongst our highest priorities at Apollo Hospitals, Noida. And so, we regularly organise Antenatal Workshops, the most recent of which was held on 3rd June 2023. Pregnant ladies, and their spouses, in large numbers attended the event. The workshop was kickstarted by Dr Richa Thukral who spoke at length on pediatric care, offering guidance to the mothers-to-be on important topics such as antenatal care, breastfeeding techniques and more. This was followed by a talk by Dr Sanchita from the Gynaecology department and Dr Vibha Chabra from Anesthesia, who elaborated on the role of anesthesia in cesarean delivery and epidural for normal delivery. The ladies enthusiastically participated in an antenatal exercise session, which was conducted under the guidance of a physiotherapist. What followed was a dietary advice session by our dietician. Interactive Q&As were included in each talk and the guests’ responses were noted and given due importance. In all, an enriching experience for all.
