Dr. Rajeev Garg is a highly accomplished Senior Interventional Cardiologist and Heart Failure Specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience in the field of cardiology. He currently serves at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderguda, and has previously led cardiology departments at AWARE Gleneagles Global Hospital and Yashoda Super Speciality Hospital, Hyderabad. A distinguished alumnus with an MD (Medicine), DNB (Cardiology), and Diploma in Cardiology (NIMS), Dr. Garg has performed more than 15,000 angiographies, 5,000 angioplasties, 400 PBMV procedures, and numerous pacemaker and CRT implantations. His expertise spans interventional cardiology, structural heart disease interventions (ASD, PDA, VSD closures, TAVI), heart failure management, and cardiac transplantation. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), Dr. Garg has also contributed extensively to clinical trials, research publications, and academic conferences, including serving as National Convener for Heart Failure (CSI 2024–2026) and President of CSI Telangana (2022–2023).
