Nursing Education
The Apollo School of Nursing was founded in 1993 followed by the Apollo College of Nursing in the year 2002, with a view to grooming caring, competent nurses, capable of providing nursing care of international standards.
Our belief in the healing power of the nurse, is manifested in our logo. The depiction of Florence Nightingale carrying a torch, symbolizes a union of dedicated nursing care, with our expansion of the horizons of healthcare, through research and innovative technologies.
Our vision is to provide the best nursing education that combines continuous quality improvement, current technology and cost effectiveness within a framework that continually assesses and improves student performance in learning while rendering compassionate patient care, as per the standards adopted globally.
Courses Offered:
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (3 Years)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4 Years)
- Bachelor of Science for Trained Nurses (2 Years): Post Basic B.Sc. (N)
- Masters of Science in Nursing (2 Years) with five specialties
- Community Health Nursing
- Medical Surgical Nursing
- Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing
- Mental Health Nursing
- Child Health Nursing
Post their graduation, n all nurses would be immersed into hands on experience, at least one of the hospitals under the Apollo Hospitals Group.
Today our nurses are much sought after, and find placements in India, as well as in USA, Europe, Singapore, Australia and other Asian countries.
