    Dr. Raga Selvi S is an accomplished Pulmonologist and Critical Care physician with seven years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of respiratory and critical illnesses. She completed her MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College, Tamil Nadu, and went on to earn her MD in Pulmonary Medicine from Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. She is registered with both the Tamil Nadu Medical Council (102351) and the Haryana Medical Council (013377). In addition, she has been certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association in April 2015.

    Dr. Raga Selvi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Srinivasan Medical College & Hospital, Trichy, a role she has held since April 2021. Prior to this, she gained extensive hands-on experience as a Senior Resident in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research, Chennai. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated expertise in managing complex respiratory conditions, critical care interventions, and advanced pulmonary procedures.

    Her clinical skills include intercostal and pigtail drainage, thoracentesis, pleurodesis, pleural biopsy, lung ultrasound, basic 2D echocardiography, ultrasound-guided FNAC, thoracentesis, lung biopsy, pleural biopsy, bronchoscopy, rapid sequence intubation, arterial catheterization, and central venous catheterization. She has actively participated in national conferences and workshops such as NAPCON, NATCON, BRONCHOCON, and AIIMS Pulmocrit updates.

    Dr. Raga Selvi has contributed to pulmonary research and academic work, including her notable publication, “Predictors of efficacy of pulmonary rehabilitation in stable COPD patients: A prospective cohort study and review of literature” in the Journal of Postgraduate Medicine. She has also presented posters at NAPCON in 2016 and 2017, further highlighting her academic involvement and commitment to evidence-based practice.
