Dr Kavitha M

Dr. Kavitha M is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with 10 years of dedicated clinical practice in women’s health, high-risk pregnancy management, gynecological disorders, and preventive care. She completed her MBBS and Internship at Govt. Stanley Medical College, under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (2009–2015), and pursued her MS in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode, under the Kerala University of Health Sciences (2016–2019). She further strengthened her clinical foundation through roles as Junior and Senior Resident at the Institute of Maternal & Child Health, Kozhikode.

Dr. Kavitha has served in several reputable institutions across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. As a Consultant OBG at Arul Hospital, Tennur, Trichy (2023–2025), she provided comprehensive antenatal, gynecological, and preventive healthcare services while ensuring high standards of patient safety. She has also worked as Senior Registrar at Kauvery Hospital, Kovilambakkam, and Apollo Cradle & Children’s Hospital, Chennai, where she managed diverse gynecological conditions, performed detailed evaluations, counseled patients, and coordinated multidisciplinary care. Earlier, as Assistant Professor at Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital, Chennai, she trained undergraduate and postgraduate students, delivered academic lectures, organized seminars, and contributed to research activities. She also briefly served as Consultant OBG at Mother Hospital, Areekode, Kerala, providing thorough patient assessments and continuity of care.

A strong academic contributor, Dr. Kavitha has presented her thesis on surgical site infections following cesarean sections and delivered an oral presentation on SLE complicating pregnancy. She has attended numerous national conferences, CMEs, and training programs, including INSIGHT AUB, AKCOG Conference, FOGSI programs, OGSSICON, YUVA OGSSICON, and several obstetrics update conferences from 2016 to 2022. Her research work includes publications such as The Use of Dienogest in the Treatment of Endometriotic Cyst and Combined Thrombophilia in Pregnancy – A Rare Case Study Report.

Dr. Kavitha is registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council and the Travancore-Cochin Council of Modern Medicine, and is an active member of professional bodies including FOGSI, TRIOGS, and IMA. Known for her compassionate care, clinical precision, and commitment to women’s health, she continues to serve patients with dedication and evidence-based practice.
