Only member (as Assistant Professor) in committee of distinguished neurosurgeons (Professors & Head) formed for establishing AIIMS like centres in India under Pradhan Mantri Swastha Seva Yojna scheme. Established a dedicated neurosurgery suite at civil hospital & B.J Medical college having all facilities like brain lab (framless neuronavigation), Neuroendoscope, intraoperatve EMG, visual evoked potential monitoring machine, pentro microscope etc. Chosen by Hon’ble Health minister to prepare pilot project for establishing a dedicated neuroscience centre (likes of NIMHANS) for Gujarat.
