Prof (Dr) Praveen Sharma

Prof. (Dr.) Praveen Sharma is a highly experienced neurologist with over 21 years of clinical and academic expertise in the field of Neurosciences. He holds an MD in Medicine and a DM in Neurology, and has been actively involved in patient care, teaching, and research throughout his distinguished career.

Dr. Sharma has served in several prestigious institutions across India, including as Professor of Neurology at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, and earlier as Assistant Professor at JIPMER, Puducherry. He has also been associated with premier institutes such as SGPGIMS, Lucknow, and PGIMER, Chandigarh, contributing significantly to neurological education and advanced clinical services.

In 2016, he was awarded the Dr. D.B. Gupta / EAN Research Experience Fellowship, gaining international research exposure in Philadelphia and Denmark. He is a former member of the American Academy of Neurology and is actively involved in professional neurological bodies as a Life Member of the Indian Academy of Neurology and the Society of Neurosonology, India.
