He relies on reports to understand the problem. He doesn’t listen to the patients at all. The total money he made me spent on Tests sums up to exactly ₹ 26,000 Yes! ₹ 26,000! On the 1st day I only said “I think I have food allergy” he asked me to get few tests done priced 6,000₹ — on second visit he again wrote few test 5,000₹ along with colonoscope 9000₹ after that he referred another doctor and asked me to get his opinion— I went there and he too gave few tests priced 6000₹ (+ MRI SCAN optional, so i didn’t take since its costly). I went back to him with these additional reports and then he finally gave me the actual course tablets which is for 1 week. Before the actual course he gave 2 week medication to prepare my body for the actual course. But the good thing was I got totally cured from food intolerance. Although I’ve spent ₹ 36,000(including medicine) in total, “I’m happy that I got cured”. Incase you want to visit him, be prepared to endure his attitude and pour raining money for the tests given by him.

My Gastro suggested me to have a sigmoidoscopy and referred me to Dr Harirharan Muthuswamy. I did a google search about his reviews and was little afraid as I could see lot of people saying negative comments on him. But I decided to go on as he is one of the best Gastros in India based on his achievements and experience. I could notice his assistant (he should also be a doctor but may be junior) is doing procedure to me where the doctor is assisting him in doing. I was noticing Dr Harirhan and he is such a good teacher and at the same time making sure everything is covered during the procedure not even missing any small things. Lot of we people have a negative opinion on doctors thinking they don’t speak much with patients and recommend for unnecessary tests for money. Trust me in some cases it’s always good to have all tets done as we are linving in an environment which is totally spoiled. Doctors don’t have enough time to spend with us reason being the amount of people in populated countries and they have to take care of all of them. Ofcourse sometimes money will also will play a role but nothing is free in this world. To me I definitely recommend him without any doubt.
