Dr. Ilankumaran Kaliamoorthy brings over two decades of excellence in anaesthesia and critical care to his leadership role at Apollo Hospitals. A distinguished alumnus of Madras Medical College, he further honed his expertise in the UK, earning the FRCA from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London. With focused experience spanning 15 years in liver transplantation, Dr. Ilankumaran has managed postoperative care for over 3,000 patients and helped establish more than 25 liver transplant centers across India and abroad. At Apollo Chennai, he spearheads strategic growth, clinical innovation, and operational excellence, leveraging his deep clinical knowledge and an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB).
