She did her DM in Pediatric Gastroenterology from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow from the only independent Pediatric Gastroenterology department in the country. She is an experienced Pediatric gastroenterologist and hepatologist. She specializes in pediatric and neonatal endoscopies, metabolic liver disorders, pediatric inflammatory bowel diseases, pancreatitis, chronic diarrheas and pediatric liver transplantation.
She has several publications in international journals and has a keen interest in research. She is the recipient of International scholarship award by United European Gastroenterology Week which is given to 30 best young gastroenterologists across the globe.
