Cancers We Treat
View AllBreast Cancer
Breast cancer refers to the abnormal growth of cells within the breast. While it predominantly affects women, it can also occur in men, though far less commonly.
Bone Cancer
Bone and soft tissue cancers, known as sarcomas, are rare cancers that develop in the body’s connective and supporting tissues. Bone sarcomas begin in bone-forming or cartilage-forming cells, while soft tissue sarcomas may arise in muscle, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons, or other connective tissues.
Skin Cancer
Skin cancer develops when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably in the skin. It most commonly occurs on areas exposed to the sun, such as the face, scalp, ears, neck, arms, and hands, but it can develop anywhere, including areas that receive little or no sun exposure.
Eye Cancer
Eye cancer develops when abnormal cells grow in or around the eye. It may begin within the eyeball, on the surface of the eye, in the eyelid, or in tissues surrounding the eye. Cancer that begins in the eye is called primary eye cancer.
Genitourinary Cancer
Genitourinary cancers develop in the organs of the urinary system and the male reproductive system. They include cancers of the kidneys, renal pelvis, ureters, bladder, urethra, prostate, testicles, and penis.
Gastrointestinal Cancer
Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology is the branch of cancer care dedicated to cancers of the digestive system — a group of organs that includes the food pipe (oesophagus), stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, liver, pancreas, gall bladder and bile ducts.
Gynaecological Cancer
The Gynaecologic oncology department offers an integrated approach to the diagnosis and surgical management of women’s cancers of the reproductive system. These include cervical cancer, ovarian cancer (includes fallopian tube and peritoneal) , pelvic masses, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer and vulvar cancer of the female reproductive system.
Hematological Cancer
Hematological cancers, more commonly known as blood cancers, are cancers that begin in the bone marrow (the spongy tissue inside our bones where blood cells are produced) or in the lymphatic system (the network of tissues and organs that helps the body fight infection). They occur when abnormal blood cells begin growing out of control, crowding out and interrupting the function of healthy blood cells that are needed to fight infection, carry oxygen and help blood clot.
