Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma: Symptoms & Treatment
Adenoid cystic carcinomas are slowly growing, locally aggressive cancers that arise in salivary glands. They have a tendency to spread along nerves and also to metastasize to the lungs. The common location for adenoid cystic cancers is in the major salivary glands, parotid and submandibular glands being the most common.
