Today, India proudly stands polio free in front of the world; however, there remains multitude of diseases which can be combatted if the private healthcare and the government hold hands and work together. With a huge amount of money being pumped into drug and vaccination research in our country and internationally, it would indeed be a smart move to share our expertise and findings. This way we help achieve our target of eradication of identified diseases much faster.
The most recent ‘life-saving dot’ campaign collaborated with the Grey advertising group helped create the impact and level of awareness like never before. This simple, yet effective method of reaching out to women in the rural areas to prevent diseases caused due to iodine deficiency proved to be a huge success. This an example of how collaborative effort and how the involvement of private players may have to the success of a program.
Together, we can make a stronger impression and make the process of Healthcare delivery faster and better.
