Payment Process

Will I be able to claim my medical expenses from my health insurance provider?

Apollo Hospitals is JCI-Accredited and recognized by many insurance providers worldwide. We work with certain insurance providers and the list is available at our International Patients Service Desk or Admission counter. However, do note that we are unable to process or accept any other foreign insurance coverage for cashless (insurance covered) treatment.
Insurance coverage is only provided by insurers and valid for in-patient procedures, staying at the hospital for more than 48 hours. Additionally, during admission, patients are required to provide a deposit and at the in-patient billing department, according to your room category. The deposit will return to the patient after payment authorization is granted by your insurer. However, in case your insurance is not approved within 48 hours of admission, you can settle the hospital bill and claim a reimbursement from your insurance provider.

What kinds of payment modes are available?

Apollo Hospitals accepts all major credit cards; VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, CIRRUS and Traveller’s cheques. The hospital accepts payment for in-patient services in the following currencies: USD, CAD, Euro, Pound Sterling, Omani Riyal, UAE Dirham, Kuwait Dinar, Saudi Riyal, Singapore Dollars, and others. Additionally, you can use our online payment gateway to securely and conveniently pay your bills.
