The Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Apollo Hospitals Chennai organizes World Ostomy Day Celebration and Awareness Program on October 22nd, 2011.
The World Ostomy Day campaign and awareness are designed to raise the importance by highlighting to the general public and global community, the challenges faced by the ostomates. The Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Apollo Chennai takes this opportunity to conduct CME (Continued Medical Education) on stoma care to the nurses and doctors, besides educating the ostomates.
