Anti-Tobacco campaign by Apollo Cancer Institutes

Apollo Cancer Institutes, Chennai organized a campaign against tobacco – Say No to Smoking & Tobacco – to observe World No Tobacco Day.

Apollo Anti-Tobacco Mobile Ambassador – Around 500 Auto Drivers in Chennai were educated on harmful effects of smoking & tobacco chewing, who in turn, became our Ambassadors to communicate the message by distributing our leaflets & “Say No to Smoking & Tobacco” message on their Auto.

Mass Awareness for this cause by Taking Pledge & Signature campaign – A dedicated booth placed at 2 reputed places ( PVR Cine complex & Satyam Theatre Complex in Chennai ), wherein the public were encouraged to come & take the pledge for Saying No to Smoking & Tobacco. More than 1500 People have taken the pledge on 31st May – World No Tobacco Day. The Social message from Apollo was also communicated in all the Movie Screens in the theatres during the course of the day to reinforce the message in the public.
