About Dr Anika Sait

Dr Anika Sait is an accomplished Orthopaedic Surgeon with an intensive specialization in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. Currently serving as an Associate Consultant at Apollo Speciality Hospital, Jayanagar, she brings a sophisticated blend of academic excellence and hands-on surgical expertise to the consultant registry.

Dr Sait completed her MBBS from the Government medical college, Kottayam, and her MS in Orthopaedics at the Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal. She also completed a rigorous one-year training program for arthroscopy and sports injuries at at KMC, Manipal. She further distinguished herself by clearing MRCS (England), demonstrating her commitment to international surgical standards. With a global perspective gained through the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Diploma in sports medicine and completing her workshop for the same at the prestigious Oslo Sports Trauma and Research Centre, Dr Sait provides high-level care for athletic injuries, joint preservation procedures, complex trauma, and degenerative joint conditions.

Her clinical practice is defined by a commitment to precision-driven surgery, including the use of advanced robotic-assisted technologies (MAKO and CORI) for joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery for various sports-related injuries and her extensive experience in managing high-performance athletes.

She actively contributes to the medical community as a faculty speaker and paper presenter at national conferences such as IASCON and ISSHCON. She is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs and has authored multiple publications in indexed national and international journals.

Dr Sait is known for her patient-centric approach, combining clinical precision with deep empathy. She is dedicated to understanding both the physical and mental trauma her patients face, ensuring a comprehensive and compassionate path to recovery. 

Leveraging a background in student leadership (School Head Girl) to foster strong interdisciplinary teamwork within the surgical and rehabilitation units, she is also an active member of the Apollo Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation unit.
