About Dr B Sneha Chitra

Dr B Sneha Chitra is an internationally trained functional neurosurgeon specializing in neuromodulation, movement disorders, and complex pain management.

She completed her MBBS from Government Stanley Medical College, graduating as the Best Outgoing Student and University Gold Medalist, receiving seven gold medals and eight subject prizes. She later completed her MCh in Neurosurgery from Madras Medical College, where she was awarded the Prof. Kalyanaraman Gold Medal for Best Outgoing Student.

Dr. Sneha holds the prestigious FRCS (Neurosurgery) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She also completed advanced fellowship training in Functional Neurosurgery and Neuromodulation through the Royal College of Surgeons of England, United Kingdom.

She has undergone further international subspecialty training at leading neurosurgical centers including Fujita Health University Bantane Hospital, Osaka City University Graduate School of Medicine, and Harborview Medical Center at the University of Washington.

In addition to wide spectrum of brain and spine surgeries,  Dr. Sneha is dedicated to advancing functional neurosurgery and neuromodulation services, bringing international expertise to improve the quality of life of patients with complex neurological disorders.
