Dr. Suresh Raghavaiah

Overview

Trained at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA, Dr Suresh Raghavaiah is a Liver and Pancreas specialist and a Multi-organ Transplant Surgeon. After his General Surgical training from St Johns Medical College, Bangalore he completed a Minimally Invasive Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgical fellowship from L’Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris.

Pursuing his interest in Immunology, he completed a Post Doc research fellowship in Transplant Immunology from Mayo Graduate School and was thereafter selected to complete the Abdominal Multi-organ Transplant Fellowship at Mayo Clinic.

After returning to India, He led the HPB and Multi-organ Transplant team at Bangalore which is credited with having performed the maximum number of Liver transplants in Karnataka. His team has also performed the maximum number of Pancreas transplants in the state and third highest in India.

Dr Suresh Raghavaiah is currently at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore as a Multi-organ Transplant Surgeon with expertise in Liver, Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation.
