Dr Kirankumar Sajjanshetty is an expert consultant in medical oncology and haemato-oncology, currently practising in Bangalore. He has extensive training and experience in Radiation and Medical Oncology, Haematology (Benign and Malignant), and Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant, having managed both adult and paediatric patients. Dr Sajjanshetty is fluent in English, Hindi, and Kannada and also speaks Marathi and Gujarati. He is described as ambitious, polite, and disciplined, with strong interpersonal communication skills and a belief in professional ethics.
He has won several awards and accolades for his academic achievements and conference presentations. His research publications include a case series and literature review on Myeloid Sarcoma, an article on immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in cancer therapy, and a retrospective analysis of 36 patients with Hairy Cell Leukaemia and their 10-year outcomes.
Dr Sajjanshetty completed his MBBS from BMC&RI (Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute), Bangalore, in 2013. He then completed his MD in Radiation Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 2017, where he also went on to work as a Senior Resident. He also has done DM in Medical Oncology and Haematology from GCRI (Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute) BJMC Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 2020.
