Apollo Proton Cancer Centre launches Screen to Win, an exclusive breast cancer screening program in Puducherry.

In a concerted effort to promote women’s health and raise awareness about breast cancer, Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC) is proud to announce the launch of the Screen to Win, an exclusive breast cancer screening program, in association with the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services, Puducherry, and the Rotary Club of Pondicherry Pride. This initiative aims to provide accessible breast cancer screenings to the general public and empower women with the knowledge and resources for early detection and prevention.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundarajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana & Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry, in the presence of Dr. Manjula Rao, Consultant-Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, APCC, and Dr. G. Sreenivasan, Medical Chairman, Rotary Club of Pondicherry.

Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundarajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana & Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry, commented on this significant effort, saying, “I am thrilled to be part of the launch of APCC’s Screen to Win program. Breast cancer is a serious health issue, and effective treatment depends on early detection. I applaud APCC, the Rotary Club of Pondicherry Pride, and the Department of Health & Family Welfare Services for working together to make breast cancer screening available to the public. This program highlights the significance of preventative healthcare and is consistent with our shared goal of ensuring the welfare of our people in Puducherry.”
