Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad conducted a health check camp and an awareness talk at Karai Police Academy.

Inspired by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement, Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad, joined hands with Foundation for Social Awakening (FSA & Muthoot Finance) to support Fit India Fit Police— a seminar cum health check camp for the police force on July 16, 2022 at Police Auditorium, Gujarat Police Academy, Karai, Gujarat.

As part of the camp, Apollo Hospitals offered free health checks to 375 police personnel. They were checked for blood sugar, blood pressure, and ECG along with consultations with an orthopedic specialist and a general physician. A consultation with gynecologist was also arranged for women police personnel at the camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Shri Ashish Bhatia, IPS, DGP & IG, Gujarat Police. Shri Vikas Sahay, IPS, DGP – Training was the guest of honour and Shri RB Brahmbhatt, IPS, ADGP, Gujarat Police, Shri NN Choudhary, IPS, DIG Principal, Gujarat Police Academy, Karai, Shri Sanjay Kumar, Security & Vigilance,The Muthoot Group, Shri Abhinav Iyer, Senior General Manager, Marketing & Strategy, The Muthoot Group, Shri Anurag Dhondiyal, Founder & Chairman, FSA, and Mr. Neeraj Lal, COO, Apollo Hospitals Ahmedabad were among the other dignitaries present at the event. Dr Sanjay Shah, Senior Consultant Trauma Surgeon & Head, Emergency Department, Apollo Hospitals, and Dr Lal Daga, Consultant, Interventional Cardiology, Apollo Hospitals addressed the gathering of police personnel creating awareness on how to improve fitness levels as special speakers.
