Ms. Shobana Kamineni, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals has been appointed as the President Designate of the Confederation of Indian Industry

Apollo Group of Hospitals has always persevered to address the challenges faced by the nation. Furthermore, to accelerate positive change, Apollo Hospitals has actively partnered with industry bodies and worked closely with the national administrators to influence change.
One such industry body that Apollo Hospitals has actively supported is the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). CII”s primary goal is to develop Indian industry and to ensure that government and society as a whole, understand both the needs of industry and its contribution to the nation’s wellbeing. Over the years, leaders at the helm of CII have been able to anticipate changes in the economic environment; identify emerging challenges and evolve action-solutions for development.
In addition to serving Apollo Hospitals, our Executive Vice Chairperson, Ms. Shobana Kamineni has been working closely with the Confederation of Indian Industry for several years. In a landmark development, she has now been appointed as the President Designate of CII, and next year, she will be the first ever woman president of CII since its inception. This is great honour for the Apollo Hospitals family and India at large.
