    Having completed 1500 Bone Marrow Transplants, Dr Rajitha Senaratne, Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, Sri Lanka congratulated Apollo Hospitals for this rare achievement which benefits not only patients from India but also thousands suffering in various parts of the world. Patients have been treated at Apollo Hospitals from all over India including Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kozhikode, Gujarat, Bengal and from foreign countries like Oman, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Dubai, UAE and Mauritius. Apollo Hospitals, Chennai was the first hospital to conduct India’s first cord blood transplant and unrelated transplant.
