Apollo Hospitals to manage the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Republic of Maldives
Marking a new international association, Apollo Hospitals will soon be managing the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital located in Male, Republic of Maldives. The agreement to this effect was signed by the Hon’ble Health Minister, Maldives, Ms. Aminath Jaameel and the Apollo Hospitals’ Managing Director Dr. Preetha Reddy, in the presence of the President, Republic of Maldives His Excellency, Hon’ble Mr. Mohamed Nasheed.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital is a state owned hospital, in Malé, Republic of Maldives. A gift from the Indian Government, the 275-beds Hospital has been providing a range of basic and speciality services since 1999. The investment envisaged for the upgrade, addition of new facilities and human resource development will be funded by a mix of investors including multi lateral organizations and government bodies.
