The Cradle
The concept behind The Cradle is that birth is a joyful experience. The interiors reflect this celebration of life with soothing pastels and elegant dιcor.
The Cradle offers innovations like the private birthing suite - an all-in-one labour, delivery and recovery room. Common internationally, this is a first for India. The suite comes fully-equipped with all required medical facilities. It eliminates the need for shifting the mother at each stage of the birthing process.
The Centre also houses a gift-shop, a bookshop, a multi-cuisine restaurant and a maternity wear outlet.
The Cradle offers specialised equipment and care for critically ill or premature new-borns.
Also available are special classes for childbirth preparation. Trained personnel administer lamaze classes, parents and sibling education programmes, antenatal exercises including aerobics, diet and nutrition and genetic counselling.
The Cradle is currently operational at Bangalore (www.thecradlebangalore.com ) and Gurgoan (www.thecradlegurgaon.com). Similar Centres are being planned at Calicut Kerala, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and other major Indian cities.
